It never fails to amaze me how this is a program to help parents yet it doesn’t do any of that. They have caseworkers who do not do their jobs, leaving cases unfinished, and take weeks to reply to emails. Visiting their website, there is no way to communicate with any supervisors who would maybe even attempt to help the situation. As well, going to the office and having the front desk lady reply with “If i’m being honest…” while not giving any good advice and help on how to go on with my case. My caseworker Tisha Williams has always been helpful and patient with me with all my questions over the years. Very grateful for the program and we loved Primrose Wylie & enjoy Imagination station Garland. Only downside is that they do not help you find a job to be able to keep your benefits.
Avoid ChildCareGroup — 2 Year Wait, Excess Paperwork, and Denials!!! ChildCareGroup is the absolute worst entity to apply for childcare assistance with. They put families through an exhausting, stressful process just to deny help in the end! Infinite Wait Times: The waiting list drags on for almost 2 years. Told me my child would start on Wednesday I haven't heard from my case worker since they won't let me speak with a supervisor or keep hanging up I'm on the verge of loosing my job and apartment because I need child care and I've been on this waiting list for 2 years 😕
