This clinic will text you an appointment confirmation, have you miss work, pull your child from class to miss school, and have you travel however far it is from your location just to refuse to see you stating "We're sorry we did not notify you but your appointment has been canceled and your therapist will not see you because she has an appointment 30 minutes from now."
We had the best experience here with my daughter when she was 5 to 6 years old and with their help and OT for ADHD at the Thompson Center she was able after a year and a half to be completely off medication and graduate from OT and is excelling beyond measures!!
My daughter’s therapist is Ryan Kavalier. He does bot listen to us (my husband and I) or our daughter at all. All he does he run his mouth, interrupt the children and parents, and talk about what he thinks needs to happen as far as medication. If you tell him that a medication doesn’t work for your little one, or has negative side effects, he will just up the dosage and say “let’s try this”. He doesn’t seem to care about actually helping the children. We need to do better for our children.
I wish there were better options available for our children.
