Dr. Okereke is a superb doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and takes time to explain very carefully his treatment plans and advice. He answers all questions and does not rush things at all. Top notch.
I never got to see him but his staff was awful.i am an RN with a heart condition with dizziness.I told the receptionist if I could not drive on appointment day could I cancel that morning and she said yes.Then I get bills for no show which it was not.I talked to the nurse who told me not to worry about that bill but I keep getting extra charges tacked on. This is very upsetting and shows complete lack of cardiac patient care&receptionist is very argumentative and unprofessional.
Thus gentleman is one of the unorganized cardiologist I've ever met. Referred my husband to have open heart surgery since he has no remembrance of. Not once came to see my husband once surgery was done. Spend 8 days in the hospital he never followed up with my husband until discharge was scheduled. Even then had to spend more days do to the fact that he had no knowledge my husband had surgery in the first place. Very disappointed.
Forget the rest, Okereke is the best! A doctor with great bed side manner. Truly cares about his patients.
I wish other doctors were like Dr. Okereke. He is a great guy! Easy to talk to, very humble. Unlike some doctors who have a chip on their shoulders. I think he is a doctor because he truly cares about people. He's the best!!!
