Chief Financial Credit Union was established in 1941 by a group of GM Pontiac Motors employees that believed people should help people. Nearly 80 years later, Chief has come a long way from our humble beginning in a toolbox on that shop floor, but we have never strayed from the original purpose: People helping people. 2/24/25 they could not answer the phone. had to hit one of the options 2 worked. got to talk to a real live human. maybe if their management knew how manage they would have enough people on Mondays to answer their phone!!! 8/11/25 they cancelled my line of credit without notice leaving me exposed. they REFUSE to answer thier phones. update 7/29/2025: no progress yesterday was on hold for 20 minutes no one answered. i called back starting hitting options got lucky option 2 got me right to a friend of mine there. i recognized the voice. she still had to id me of course. i never interfere with a working person. she helped me because i helped me. it was too hot yesterday to get in my truck and drive over there. its a lot faster in the 21st century to have to use a horse and buggy technology because chief financial refuses to hire enough help, then they tape... read more
I worked with Rob as my loan officer for buying a car. Really great and transparent, reliable communication. Couldn’t have had anyone better.
I’ve never dealt with better customer service anywhere else. I spoke with Monique and Maggie and they were so extremely pleasant to deal with and cared a lot about making sure I could make the best financial decision possible along with answering several questions giving me the best information possible.
