Beware, if you are traveling and order a part for delivery to somewhere other than your home, they may not ship it. Happened to me. Stuck away from home. Ordered parts, didn’t ship for 3 days then called. The Karen in Oregon, who answered said it might be fraud becasue she checked the voter rolls where I was waiting for the part.. She didn’t ship because “ I AM NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE THERE”. Seriously , I couldn’t make this up. I cancelled and called Spruce.

I sent the following email to the owners who never even took the time to reply. Hello Back in March I was working on a 1941 Porterfied and needed parts for the project. I picked up 4 exhaust gaskets from Freddy at your store and asked if they were returnable as an aircraft of that age doesn’t have a parts catalog. He said no problem. Last month I was at the Deland Airport and tried to return the 4 unused gaskets (total price $40 for the 4 ). This is perhaps some of the worst customer service that I have received. Firstly they denied that the battery they sent me was faulty despite it being unusable and after going back and forth they finally admitted it was bad. They offered to accept the return if I PAID FOR SHIPPING. When I told them that I wouldn't pay to return an item to them that was clearly broken they told me they would exchange it however I no longer needed it, I just wanted a refund. I'm from Brazil and was amazed by this store's service. I was impressed with the speed of delivery. It's like buying on a Monday and receiving here in Brazil on a Thursday of the same week! They're very honest and have excellent products. Simply an incredible company!
