Recently purchased a home which was inspected by a certified home inspector in the spring of 2020 prior to finalizing the sale. The home has a large patio with several steps going to a lower level. We found out later that the patio was completed in October, 2019. The home inspector noticed that there was sealant deterioration along the steps and they were pulling away from the main deck.
