Ordered a chicken bites lunch as a carry out on 1/17/2026. When I walked into the building, the whole placed smelled of the cheap bathroom deodorizer that businesses often use. We placed our order. The cashier, D’Ondre, was very nice and polite. We sat at a table while our food was prepared. Again, this cheap deodorizer smell was so powerful and giving me a headache. The staff is awesome and those two guys that fry the chicken and do the ribs is on point. The potatoes I like them because they aren't burn't up and too crispy. The lovely two women Katie and Tory are so respectful and shows me great respect with professionalism. That's why I made it my favorite place to become a regular customer. I'm lost for words when it comes to this establishment and I've been to several chicken shacks but, I-696 and Schoenherr has them beat by far. Thinking I chose the wrong day to visit. Maybe they were short staffed and stressed. The other issues during the visit I can get over but making it seem like I'm the issue when my order was wrong is annoying. I wasn't rude, disrespectful, or impatient. And there was a nice little wait both times i had to go through the drive thru.
