I write this review because I’m concerned about the store owner’s attitude towards safety concerns for children’s toys. I bought a toy tissue box for my baby. When I opened the box at home, I noticed loose threads on the tissue box and each fabric sheet (tissue). When I went to return the item the next day, I explained to the store owner that the toy was of poor quality and had loose threads everywhere, which presented a choking hazard for my five month old baby. Chickadee is our go-to store for all things toys, gifts, activities, and books for kids. There is such a wide selection for kids of all ages and the staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when asking for recommendations!
After learning about this place last year I get all my gifts for my niece and nephew from the store! Love the online store as you can choose by age. Toys are educational and fun. I found the owner’s Instagram stories gift guides so helpful. Lovely store in the plaza!
A great local store with unique toys, it’s become my favourite place to find gifts too.
