Talk about a confidence boost after EVERY service. I first went to Chicana Esthetics because I was starting a new job and had to wear attire that exposed my back - this made me nervous because I struggled with body acne. Abby was so understanding, made me feel very comfortable in my skin, and gave me the most glorious back facial. Not only did she help give my back a “boost”, but educated on how to keep my skin clear. I have since continued to see Abby for waxes here and there and will try more and more services.
Truly enjoy my maintenance waxes at Chicana Esthetics. Every time, I leave feeling empowered and confident in my own skin because I feel understood. Unlike other skin specialists, Abby sets an open and welcoming space for me to be honest about my skin concerns, especially as a person of color. I love the transparency and detailed explanations on whatever treatment I come in for. As a form of self-love, I keep coming back.
Just want everyone to know that Abby is the real deal, I get my facial services handled monthly in the San Diego area and Abby was able to take care of me on short notice at a fraction of the price of what I am used to for California. Abby moves fast but is gentle and transparent about what is going on your skin, I absolutely recommend her for any services she performs she is the best in this area.
