Have had the newspaper delivered for 40 years. Never again. We prepaid for one year in December 2025 to avoid all the "extra" charges they like to get you for "premium" issues that you don't want/need. They then charged us again for one year in July 2026 at a much higher price and off schedule. Called to get a refund and got the runaround. Demanded a refund and they said they would. They never did. Predatory company with outsourced *everything.* A relative of mine died December 30, 2025 & I was not aware of their subscription. Like a normal person I took care of urgent matters first, I finally was able to reach her home recently & saw a bill that apparently started February 2026. Desperately wanted to support traditional news such as the Trib, but they have continued to charge me for an account that I've been attempting to cancel for months. Zero easy-cancel option online (isn't that against the law in IL now?) along with 2 support phone numbers that ring twice then go silent yet stay connected for 10 minutes before dropping.
