I have nothing but amazing things to say about Transcraft. Mike and his team did a fantastic job on rebuilding my jeeps transmission. Pricing was good, and their turn around time is super fast, and communication was great. Thank you guys so much. 1000/10, would recommend!
I was very impressed with Mike and Chicago Transcraft today. I brought my car in because I'd been told I needed a new transmission from another shop, but Mike took me on a ride-along, inspected the car for hours, and determined that the car did not need any work done. While I don't want to have transmission repairs needed, if I do in the future I will definitely go back to his shop.
I really didn’t want to write this review, but here we are. This summer, I brought my car to your shop for a transmission rebuild and paid $3,500. You replaced the worn friction discs inside but didn’t touch the sensors or the oil pump. My car is a 12-year-old Hyundai Sonata, and its transmission relies entirely on oil pressure. After the repair, you filled it with universal transmission fluid instead of the SP4 fluid recommended by the manufacturer. Mike was unbelievable, I explained our situation to him about our van and the transmission problem he said bring it in. We’ll get it out as fast as possible and sure enough they did. Fantastic job, thank you again everybody at Transcraft.
