Horrible company. I just refinanced and despite instructions, the proceeds due check was made out to my former name and not my current name. Hence I am unable to cash the check and its been 3 weeks now. Numerous emails from my closing broker has done nothing and the money is still tied up. Chicago Title has not even acknowledged the email to my broker! I have now escalated it to the Dept of Insurance for guidance and assistance. Use another title company if you have the option.
Please do not go to this company. They are horrible and non responsive . I have left voicemails for the past two months for Jamie Eldridge , Pam Fultz, Kristy Wooding with no response. I bought a property cash in July and I still don’t have the deed to my property.
