They get you to closing. Communication with my escrow team was poor. I initiated every conversation through the process. They called the buyer in for closing and only then realized the paperwork was incorrect. They sent the buyer home, corrected the paperwork, and brought them back in later that day to sign the corrected papers, after the lender's business hours, resulting in a closing delay over the weekend.
