I participated in last year's Halsted Halloween Parade costume contest - this was my experience of the event. The person in the video was part of production. I had asked them for help earlier and they said they would come back with the showrunner. After like half an hour they made no effort to check in on me, apprehend the guard, keep him away from me, or anything. Pay me the money that you owes me (more than 4 years).
Just a collassal of a failure of communication for Taste of Lincoln. I planned to come for the final two bands on Sunday. I checked the website in the morning and it was the 10pm closing. I show up at 6 and the band I wanted to see at the end is playing. They moved everything up 2 hours closing at 8 with zero communication. And that's true for vendors who pay to be here. I'm just someone who wanted to attend. I get things happen but the zero communication is an utter failure.
