Recommendedalways enjoy my experience .however today I was trying to climb in Kayak but need up in River..Thankfull to to women who helped pull me out ..wish I could see whole thing on video because was undewellemed with my perception of what happened...maybe 100% my fault and if true I would own it...however only people that made sure I was ok was the 2 good samarations who helped me out of river ..tough situation

Lived in Chicago my whole life, always seeing kayakers on the ruver and wondering vaguely where they got the boats, and now I know! Have gone kayaking twice in the past two weeks, a wonderful time and some nice wildlife, and affable and knowledgeable staff have been a delight to talk to and learn from. Not nearly as expensive as I'd expect somehow, either. Returning ASAP!
We had a wonderful experience today at the location at Busse Lake. The friendly staff made it easy to get started, especially for newbies like me! We spent an hour kayaking - hubby and I in one tandem kayak and our teenage son & daughter in the other - and it was great! Can't wait to go back!!

My wife and I got our start kayaking a few years ago with Chicago River Canoe & Kayak at their Skokie Lagoons Location. Great place to paddle, we much enjoyed our days kayaking there. Recently moved back to Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula, we decided to start our own shore-based kayak rental.
