I can’t believe in 2025 a medical imaging facility is still relying on CDs to distribute patient records! Who even uses CDs anymore?! I had an MRI done at Chicago Northside MRI, and when I asked for my digital images, they told me the only way to get them was by picking up a physical CD in person. If my doctor needed the images, they wouldn’t even send them electronically—they actually required my doctor’s office to mail them a prepaid shipping label just to receive a CD! The staff was great and professional, unfortunately the experience was cheap and needs improvement. This year, I have unfortunately needed several MRIs. I have never experienced an MRI without headphones or music. Why does your clinic not provide headphones or music during the MRI? Especially if most of the people coming in have headaches or vertigo..? I can't imagine this to be so expensive that you can't provide it. The in-person patient experience here is fine. The process of scheduling, billing, and receiving records or mail, is not - it is HORRENDOUS. This office categorically refuses to provide electronic receipts for services rendered - you must either pick them up in person at their office or have them mailed. Often time, you cannot reach an employee by phone and are left with no choice but to leave a voicemail.
