We booked a dinner on the didn't know what boat it was. Once we kept walking and found out it was the Spirit of Chicago, we got aboard and thanked them for the grace period. Went on Chicago Signature Dinner Cruise on Lake Michigan on the Spirit of Chicagot 6:30pm and we got to the boat at 5:30pm and the staff were very disoriented and didn't know what they were talking about, they had a wedding on the top two floors and we got the bottom floor. The table we got was horrible, the Food was cold. My mother got injured and staff didn't even have a ice pack, they only gave us ice in a napkin and did everything to not have to do a Report. Do not going on the Spirit of Navy Peir. The wait staff was awful. Extremely rude. Extremely disappointing.
This company books reservations for the Odyssey and the Spirit of Chicago. I’ve been on the Spirit of Chicago in the past, and I’ve had good experiences. This time was no different! When checking in, it is best to print your ticket (the QR code). Your picture is taken before boarding (our photo had Lake Michigan in the background), and they offer 4 photos (2 landscape and 2 portrait) for $45 (comes with a reinforced plastic-coated paper photo stand). One of the best city cruises so far! The hospitality and service are over and beyond!! I would definitely recommend people to try this if they are in Chicagoland!
