Purchased 4 of the HC71SB thermostats. I have a 3 wire application. The website states the thermostats work with 3 wire applications. I installed these and they do not work with my zone valves. I reached out to the company to return the thermostats and they offered to return at a 50% reduction. They also stated I should have only bought 1 and tried it first or calling to check compatibility. I find this to be poor customer service when the website states will work with 3 wires. This company makes products that pay for themselves in less than one month. The savings on energy is so immediate and significant, the only question is why did we wait so long to save so much money. This company makes a very good product, and if there's ever a problem they stand behind their product and replace it with no questions asked.
