Going to give my anecdotal experience: Booking through the booksy app - smooth and my appointment was confirmed within an hour. Day of appointment - My barber messages and says he will be 30 minutes late after he is already 15 minutes late. 40 minutes go by and he still does not show up. I message and say I will go elsewhere. Within 5 minutes I get labeled a no show in the booksy app, but no apology from the barber/offer to reschedule do to his lackluster time management.
