We had a deal. An agreed upon price. Upon going to sign papers, noticed a 279 extra security feature added. No mention of what it is, what it does. Then it shifted to "its our standard practice and we put it on all cars. It's not removable." From the finance guy to boot. Only until I physically stood up and threatened to walk out we're they suddenly able to remove it and reprint my bill of sale. I suspect a lot of people have probably just paid it - unkowningly - and got ripped off. Careful!
As always, make sure to do your due diligence before buying any car and ask the right questions. That being said, the staff here very respectable. It's clear that they value the condition and reputation of their used car inventory and provide great service to show it.
Do not purchase a vehicle from them. They sold me a car with a wealth of mechanical issues. My mechanic suggested I return the vehicle. I am not getting a response from anyone there regarding my concerns after several phone calls and emails. Not a single response. Now I am having to file a report with the attorney general, better business, and hiring an attorney. Steer clear of this dealership.
If you’re doing business with Chicago auto place then stop they are criminals and crooks and they did my twin brother wrong earlier this year in February. My twin brother went to Chicago auto place in Downers Grove Illinois to purchase a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 he took them $12,000 they lie and told the finance company that he only gave them $10,000 and instructed him told to tell the finance company that he only gave them $11,040 when originally my brother gave them a $12,000 down payment and they also lied about how muc... read more
