Cathy & Lindsay from Chic and Swell were very pleasant to work with, were flexible when we wanted changes made and, provided a beautiful final product. All of the pieces we rented from them were beautiful and made our venue SHINE!!! 10/10 recommend this decorating company!!
Hire them if you want your folding chairs to cost more than rent, I guess! If you're having your wedding at the National Arts Centre you're contractually obligated to rent furniture exclusively from this company. Presumably due to their monopoly on the NAC wedding market, they charge an insultingly ludricrous amount. They quoted us over $1750 to rent 81 folding chairs. Three quarters of that price is in the form of hidden fees like 'setup' and 'takedown' which are apparently distinct from 'delivery'. Curiously, they didn't b... read more
