Really disappointed by the experience here. Overpriced and did not leave with the style I requested. I went to the new location in silver spring. Left my service with larger braids than I asked for and my braider added in a color that didn’t match my mix. When I voiced my concerns she did not try to fix it but rather stated that she was ready to go home. Pros: the space was clean and the AC worked well.

Chic Hair Braiding is our go-to salon for braids and cornrows! I come here with my daughter, and we’re always impressed by the amazing results. The stylists really know their job—professional, fast, and detail-oriented. They’re also so kind and patient, especially with kids. I asked for a boho Bob with an example photo sent via What's app and showed the pic to the stylist. The hair looks a bit better than what I ended up with when I left the chair because I took the time to re style it and cut it shorter . I should NOT pay $200 only to fix it at home myself . * note I cut the hair shorter it was mid back when I left 1. They showed up late to the appt. 2. They clearly didn't know what they were doing 3. Amazing shop I’ve been braiding my hair there since 2020 and never had a problem with any braiders they’re really nice, really friendly, understandable, good vibe and the price is also understandable depending on the hair style you choose cause they all don’t have the same price. Did a lot of different style, box braids, knotless, cornrows, stitch braids… really looking forward to keep braiding my hair there❤️❤️.

The worst place I’ve braided my hair yet. I called beforehand to ask if I could come in and she said I could come they were free. I came and she was busy, told me to wait 20 mins and also changed the price from what we agreed on over the phone, although it was the same style we agreed on. I never do this because I love to support small businesses but don’t waste your time, she’s way too unprofessional and she did a horrible job because she was in a hurry to get back to the other person she was helping
