I experienced the same results as the reviewer below me. Since the switch to virtua the customer service has been terrible. I had to wait 30 minutes before speaking with someone. The front desk advised me that his next available appointment is November. That is further out than a standard surgery consult. How can my primary doctor not be available to see me for 5 months? Now I am stuck looking for a new PCP.
I love Dr. Chianese, but since he joined Virtua, the service is terrible. I called for an appointment after an emergency hospital visit and was on hold for 1/2 hour then disconnected. Called back and was on hold for another 1/2 hour before speaking to someone who then put me on hold again, before making an appointment in 2 1/2 weeks. What used to be a wonderful family practice has become a horrible nightmare.
I was introduced to Doctor Chianese almost 19 years ago while beginning some extreme medical issues. I accredit Doctor Chianese with saving my life. He is compassonate, understanding and thorough. I would recommend him highly.
I thought Dr Chianese was very efficient and through he listened and really got to the problem, he is very good. I am glad I found him
Our family have been coming to Dr Chianese since my children were small. They are now adults and they still come. Dr Chianese always has time no matter how busy he is, thats hard to come by in a Doctor's appointment. Usually you only get your 5 minutes and your done.
Dr. Chianese has been my family physician for over 30 years. He is an excellent doctor and is very caring and considerate of his patients. There is never a problem getting an appointment and there’s a very short wait time. I highly recommend him.
Dr Chianese is so very kind and very thorough. I went through a couple doctors but I am very happy with Dr Chianese because he listens patiently and then decides on the best treatment which resulted in my health being regained. He is a wonderful doctor! Recommend him highly!
He is caring and concerned about your problems. Takes time to discuss issues.
