Hands down, the WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Run down, understaffed, unprofessional, dirty...honestly just make the drive a town over because I would NOT trust them in an emergency situation.

We've been here almost 4 hours. No doctor has spoken to us. When I asked for an update, I was told it could be much worse and they would love to get us out of their hair and have an empty ER. I tried to ask in the kindest way possible because I know this is a difficult job. I would have hoped for better communication. All of the rooms around us are empty.

One star is too generous but necessary to post this review. Our mother passed away at CHI St. Vincent North Hospital in Emergency Room 8 on Sunday, September 11, 2022, and the response to the grievance we filed with the hospital was completely unsatisfactory. There were a series of distressing events that transpired during her stay, far too much to summarize briefly. Always fast, proficient, and kind. Being military we have been to many emergency departments over the years, and this one is by far the best. The front desk workers and healtcare workers have all been extremely kind and helpful.
