I want to review a hospital I stayed at. I was admitted thru the ER. I didnt see a doctor for 2 days and when I did it was for about 60 seconds. Emergency Room: Upon admission through the ER, the PA stood at the doorway and never performed a physical examination. Despite this, his documentation stated he spent 35 minutes conducting a thorough exam. St Luke's is the best hospital to take your loved one the nurses and doctors are really awesome here they take the time to listen to the paitent and the family they have sympathy and respect and don't interrupt when some one else is speaking to them and their not halloring over you and talking over you they actually take the time to hear what the family and paitent has to say they don't just push their paitent off and just assume hey this is what is wrong with you they actually do the right test to see what is actually going... read more
St. Luke's, always communicate with your patients. Tell them why they will have to wait a long time. I came at 7pm and it is now 2 am. I will never come back to this hospital.
We were taken to the ER by EMTs. Everyone was nice, although they appatemtly expected me to know the basic layout already, even though I was asking for directions.
My Mom passed out and nearly cut her ear off. Took her here for treatment. She has AFib and takes blood thinners. She sat there bleeding for almost 6 hours before doctor saw her. They were supposed to call in antibiotics and tramadol. Never did it. She had to deal with the pain until 6 days later due to Labor Day. They did not send her home with any wound care instructions. Will NEVER use this hospital again.
