I was recently admitted as a transfer from Lufkin. The staff in the west tower, in the surgery wing (4th floor) were absolutely amazing. The nurses were by far my best advocates. There wasn't a person that I dealt with that didnt make my stay bad. I felt like the cleaning staff, cafeteria workers, patient care techs, and nurses were the absolute top in their fields. This is saying a lot since I was in there away from home for 12 days.
The nurse that took me to the room. She made a comment that I didn't like. I was feeling bad and I didn't say anything. When a person is sick don't say mean and hateful things♀️ she almost got cussed out. But God got it. The doctor was so nice he was a older black man And the guy that took my blood was nice.
