I went to ER as per my insurance with spinal issue advised Kelsey Sebold. Pain so extreme couldn't sit up. Told me "full" go elsewhere,I called CISD Benefits as I was now collapsed on filthy floor. Kelsey Dr. Ruiz finally showed up & admitted. Charged over 5k for this. As I am in room, Kelsey Sebold never sent spinal neurologist so lying in room 0 gravity waiting (T-11/T12 disk herniated). Every St. Luke’s health is completely awful. They do not know how to run a business legitimately. Poor service and bad staff. Stay far away from all of these! They’ll bill you for services when you have insurance coverage and deny claims and say you had pre existing conditions when you didn’t. I’d give no stars if possible!!
My mother in law was in the ER to have a feeding tube replaced, which happened late in the afternoon. She was cleared to be discharged back to her SNF around 5pm today and an ambulance service that the hospital uses was called to transport her. It is after 11pm, and she is still waiting on the ambulance. St Luke's nurse called the ambulance service and they said that they took a patient to Methodist across the freeway but could not leave until a nurse was assigned to that patient. My husband had a medical emergency when at Ren Fest and the St. Luke’s team treated him with care, kindness, and eventually humor when it was clear he would be okay. Chris and Kristina were understanding and gave good advice for recovery. Thank you both!
