Some of my friends have been amazed at my negative stories about medical practice. However, there's at least one bright spot in rural CHI Clinic Medicine. I have yet to meet any organization or any clinic so filled with people who are in a good mood and happy to do their jobs as in the Oakland Iowa CHI Clinic, even on a Monday like today. Took niece in for physical and not one person who came in her exam room wore gloves, even when they gave her a vaccination. They wiped to blood off from the vaccination with a cotton ball without gloves and placed a Band-Aid then proceeded to type on the computer and leave the room without washing their hands or sanitizing. They did not give her any information regarding the vaccination that she received or what the potential side effects might be. I will not be taking her back to this clinic.
