They (CHI) are the worst. I had some sciatic/lower back issues at the beginning of the year. The doctors didnt seem very effective at evaluating my problem. In the early days i had to run to their ER. For less than 10 minutes of waiting (not busy at all) and 5 minutes consulting with a physician about the pain.... they charged nearly $2000.00 (dont use the ER if you can live until the regular clinic opens). Did not listen to a single statement that came from my mouth for the entire appointment. Massive, massive amount of conclusions arrived at without having conducted a thorough enough analysis to have done so as a result of justifying confirmation biases (some based in prejudice) from previous horribly inaccurate notes. It was not possible for me to defend myself against these biases without him perceiving it as a justification of why they were more accurate. Worst ER experience ever. Went in for injury. Needed imaging. Told front desk & triage there for assessment & imaging. Triage nurse had history wrong, never corrected. Never asked about medications. Acted like she didn't care and was being put out of her way during vitals. Waited in pain for over 4 hours. Not seen by a doctor, but PA. PA said they don't do imaging in ER and I needed to have PCP schedule at a later day. Offered pain drugs only and no treatment whatsoever. I wouldn't go here again if I were bleedin... read more

My son in law was at CHI Lincoln, Nebraska.  The day staffing was very nice.  But, the night nurses were very rude.   And, in trying to get a complaint form he was informed they didn’t have them.   No, one returned calls so,  he could speak to someone no one calls back.  Night staff very unprofessional.

This is a review of CHI business only. This is not a comment on the workers or billers, it's a comment on those who run the organization. Reviewing their billing system; their payment system, Internet and phone, us extremely wonky and it's a pain the glutes to pay them.

I had The Worst experience I have ever had.I was having horrible pain in my right side in back..Kidneys..I was sent back into a room passing at least 10 nurses and a dr or two..just sitting laughing talking. My nurse put an iv in, gave me some pain med and left.an hour goes by and im freezing finally my nurse comes in and i ask her for a blanket..she said..we dont have anymore...so i take the blanket off the bed to find out it was really dirty..Im telling myself it was tea on it..i dont know..or poo another hour goes by..no... read more

Wednesday Dec.1,2021 I stepped off a curb in Mercy Hospital parking lot after leaving maternity ward where I spent the night with family, at 4:00am. I laid in parking lot for 30-45 min. I had rolled my ankle and slammed face down on pavement my purse went flying across parking lot so I had no phone to call into ER for a wheelchair I laid by ER parking until someone came out to go home and saw me and ran back in to get help. Tried multiple Dr's at this clinic. All seem lackadaisical & like they don't know how health insurance works. I'll drive farther to a different clinic from now on.

I was admitted into the emergency room Monday morning, released Wednesday afternoon. Everyone I made contact with in the hospital was gracious, generous with their time, and sensitive to any needs I may or may not have known I needed or wanted. The experience was made a lot more comfortable than I deserved. From the emergency room, to the observation room, to the 6th{?} floor, thank you to everyone, again and again!
