After reading reviews for the hospital ER’s, I decided to go to Lakeside, others were a 5 minute drive vs 30 minutes to Lakeside. The visit started out fine until triage. The nurse, Amber, was rude, unsympathetic of my pain, and worst of all she downright lied in her notes, I had a personal with me to verify that what she typed was misquoted or flat out lie. Edited to add they made me feel very stupid, but they're the stupid ones because they completely missed my son's ear infection, which is why his cough was so bad.

If you have to walk to a different hospital with a risk of dying, your chance of survival is better than going here. My mom was brought in by squad from a doctor clinic. She couldn’t sit up without passing out, bp was 260/140 and shock. The moment I walked in they had me sit and they would grab me when they got my mom settled. Don't come here if you have an emergency. 2am on a Tuesday and we are over 2 hours waiting when we likely didn't even need a room. This is unacceptable. Not sure how this is considered an "Emergency Room" when you wait longer to be seen than if you went to a walk-in clinic. **Update** Finally got to a room later on. Only took over 3 hours. Now I get to wait for another hour before anyone shows up. Great. You would think I saw a packed Emergency Room with nurses & doctors rushing around? Nope. The place was dead. If I could give no stars… I wouldn’t even hesitate to. Immediately when being walked back, there was a roach crawling across the floor. There were flies in my room. The nurses were kind. The doctors on the other hand… my doctor was so dismissive, he was half way out the door when I was explaining my symptoms mind you with the door open….and told me having a fever over a hundred for the past week was because placebo.
