I made an appointment over three months ago and provided all of my information, including my insurance details. However, the day before my appointment, I discovered that my insurance was not in-network with the clinic. The supervisor informed me that it was the patient's responsibility to verify this, and they, as a clinic, did not take any responsibility for it. Contrary to the one star review I saw Dr. Kizer himself, he spent plenty of time with me, he was very good at explaining things in a way you could understand them, he was caring and nice and I always got straight through with the nurse when I called. I had an out patient procedure done and it was a really great experience-well as great as procedures go! Highly recommend him!

When you schedule appointment, expect to be seen by a Physician Assistant (PA), if you want a doctor, then request. If they schedule any procedures be sure to follow up on them. If you call and leave a message and you don't hear back in 24 hrs, continue to call back until you get it resolved, you don't want any surprises. I am looking for another Gastroenterology office.......
