Quality Vietnamese Food at Chez Thuy Chez Thuy has a great selection of Vietnamese food for take-out or dine-in. Although it maybe is a tad pricier than some of the Chinese restaurants in the area, Chez Thuy's food is definitely of higher quality and comes in sizable portions. My favorite menu items are the vermicelle dishes--fried rice noodles with honey and pine nuts-- delicious!

Good Vietnamese food in Boulder. The menu includes many, many choices like curried chicken, pork sauteed in a clay pot, noodle bowls, vegetarian choices and much more. I have always ordered take out food here so I can't comment on the dining area and service but the food is good.

Great Pho and spring rolls – Nice review Bryce :) Love it. Get the Beef Pho with extra veggies. Plus an order of shrimp spring rolls. $11. Great price

Top notch Viet food – Went for the first time since moving here recently. Really fine Pho--my personal baseline for evaluating--beautiful hints of herb, nice stock. Food for the soul. Agree that service isn't the most attentive, but it wasn't lacking to any significant degree. Better than hovering.

Rushing you out! I love their food and the ambience. Its a great place to go with friends AND to enjoy a romantic dinner too. Everything is fantastic until your server appears. Most servers there do not even look at you while taking your order. It seems as if they want you out soon and thats it. Fifteen minutes after placing your food on the table, they will come and throw you the bill expecting you to pay right away... As a matter of fact, we were interrupted by the server while we were eating to ask as if we could possibly... read more

Customers Taken For Granted at Chez Thuy – Chez Thuy has always had bad service. It is cold and offering the bare minimum at best. I am glad that other reviewers mentioned this as well. I recently went to Chez Thuy since their remodel/construction. I didn't notice any difference inside, but the food changed. I ordered the stand-by Pho, beef noodle soup. It was horrible. I don't think there was any anise in it at all. There was hardly any flavor. Very disappointing. Of course, I could not tell my server about it, since I neve... read more

Great Vietnamese Food! – I've eaten at Chez Thuy several times, and I've had a good experience every single time. Although I did sometimes find the service a little lacking, the food was so good that I didn't mind. The prices are a little higher than many Asian restaurants, but I think the extensive variety of the menu makes up for it. Last time, I tried their Pad Thai (not a Vietnamese dish), and I think that I will stick to the traditional Vietnamese dishes next time. The Pad Thai actually didn't really taste like Pad Thai... read more

Space is tight and the food top-notch--kind of like Vietnam. – In Short There's always a crowd and it can get loud. The food is excellent, plus the portions are large and prices moderate. For starters, there's the hot-and-sour soup or the tasty crystal rolls. The seafood special is packed with seafood, and the five-spice chicken looks like they've mistakenly served a whole bird. The vegetarian hot pot is served in a black-bean sauce that's thick and flavorful, without being overbearing. For dessert, fried bananas, of course.

The best Vietnamese! Pronounced "Shay Twee," this is by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area (not that there are that many choices, unfortunately). The menu is like a novel - so many dishes! And it's all delicious. Affordable, too. Great atmosphere, great food. Wish I could eat there more often. Try the iced coffee!!
