Scallops were very tasty. Atmosphere charming for such a dive on the outside. Waitress could not get the ticket straight for 3 couples. 5 of us got our food and had finished eating before the last one got his scallops. We told the server to take the scallops back since we had all finished. The kitchen obviously had problems going on.

The food is incredible. It's hard to believe Lubbock has a place like this. Chez Sami is what other restaurants like the Watering Hole and The Nicolett think they are. This is definitely the best place in town.

I've been let down with each visit to Chez Sami, and won't return. Our visit on Valentine's Day 2024 with the 5-course Prix Fixe menu was dreadful. The restaurant took a short-notice reservation and got us in within the hour. We were seated quickly and bread service was prompt. The Duck Croquette to begin the meal was fantastic. The table service was outstanding. Started with escargot and lobster gnocchi the Beef Wellington for entree. Too full for desert but definitely will be trying the crème brûlée next visit…. Yes will be returning.
