Breakfast and dinner was amazing. The manager Jason, Jeff (breakfast) and Birch took very good care of us doing our stay. We tend to come with our friends (the Ned’s) and we always have a good time. Great customer service and menu recommendations. The food was delightful! The Thompson remains on my list of fav hotels to visit when I’m in the area. I had the oatmeal for breakfast and the Duck for dinner. The meat was falling off the bone and very flavorful. I love the mocktail options as well!
Our waitress Yasmine (spelling?) was fantastic, very professional. Ambiance was good but feel there should be a dress code enforced for customers.
Wonderful experience. The evening started with David, our server. He is a true professional. The food was exceptional. My wife had the beet salad & gnocchi. I had muscles & duck confit. Recommend all of those dishes. We will be back.
Bar Maggy – Restaurant Review After researching Bar Maggy and hearing good things about it, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as we expected. We ordered the steak, fries, escargot, and two cocktails. The steak was well-cooked and the meat was soft and tender, but it was unfortunately too salty for our taste.
