Definitely try the karari bhindi. It is a delicacy that is worth driving from Toronto for. Paneer tikka masala is amazing as well. Couldn't have had something more delish. They also have chana bhatura and a bunch of street food options if you're feeling like it. With great drinks and a cool bar, this is a 10/10 must visit place.
Great spot in the heart of downtown Montreal. Located at a few steps away from Concordia, students can enjoy a quick lunch at affordable prices. They now also serve brunch at 23$/per with unlimited chai.
So I recently ordered Panneer Makhani from devi. The gravy served to us was Costco’s KFI butter chicken sauce. We often use this gravy at home and are well aware about its taste. They just heated the gravy and put some pieces of panneer in it. Alloo tikki also tasted average. Definitely Not coming back. It was a complete waste of money.
Convenient location, nice looking restaurant, very attentive waiter, but the food was alright. The butter chicken tasted like tomato soup, the carrots in the korma were clearly frozen/not fresh cut, but the naan was good.
We went to Restaurant Devi for the paratha buffet and it was outstanding. The food was delicious, especially the Aloo Paratha and Meetha Paratha, both a solid 10/10. The chai and gulab jamun were great as well. Excellent service by Sagar made the experience even better. Highly recommended.
