Great spot in the heart of downtown Montreal. Located at a few steps away from Concordia, students can enjoy a quick lunch at affordable prices. They now also serve brunch at 23$/per with unlimited chai.
We went to Restaurant Devi for the paratha buffet and it was outstanding. The food was delicious, especially the Aloo Paratha and Meetha Paratha, both a solid 10/10. The chai and gulab jamun were great as well. Excellent service by Sagar made the experience even better. Highly recommended.
The Lamb Biryani was amazing! And the waiter is so nice. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm.
The food and service were great. We opted to order off the menu as there were more authentic options. The food was delicious, portions were more than enough and the service was perfect. We also ordered a recommended appetizer, the fried okra. It’s was like eating Indian spiced fries - delicious. Another thing, we were there during Grand Prix, and I didn’t feel they took advantage of us like other restaurants that have a separate Grand Prix menu which is really just +15% regular price. We were planning to go to another restaurant, but since they didn’t allow kids after 9 pm, we decided to try this place instead — and we’re so glad we did! We ordered the chicken biryani and butter chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, this is the best Indian cuisine I’ve tried in Canada so far. Amazing flavors, great quality, and such a pleasant surprise. We’ll definitely be back
