Stopped at Chevron in Arcata around 4 AM after just getting into town, and the experience pretty much summed up why I don’t live here anymore. Already checked into a dirty motel that cost nearly 100 dollars for the night, so I came in hoping to at least grab a coffee and reset a bit. Walked in and wasn’t greeted at all.
