Cheval Animal Hospital is wonderful! I recently brought my cat Olive in for an appointment for limping and everyone was so nice and friendly. Dr. Nichols and Monica took great care of Olive and made sure she had a pleasant/fear free visit. Cheval Animal Hospital is the only place I would bring my pets!
I have been very impressed with the entire operation of Cheval. The support staff on phones, etc are always friendly going over an beyond with any assistance. The medical team is truly dedicated, efficient and dog friendly. Our tech remembered what Gibbs liked and was ready with cheese to distract him during his treatment. Dr. R has been on target to assist me with a well natured but very nervous canine. I fully support them.
Out of the 3 vets I've had from moving they def take the best care of Chippy smalls. In July he had pancreatitis and couldn't keep anything down for 48 hours but was better after they gave him anti nausea and appetite stimulate with hydration.. Also I got financially t bagged by life lately and they were helpful with figuring out how I could handle the payment part. And the doctors and staff are just down to earth and trust worthy (unlike 4th Street pet hospital in St Pete o man what a mess)
After tolerating years of disorganization at a different veterinary practice, we started asking our friends and neighbors "who is the best veterinarian in Carrollwood?" and the answer was frequently the Dr's Dutton at Cheval Animal Hospital. They were not wrong! Dr (Mr) Dutton spent a lot of time listening to our laundry list of symptoms and got right to the point of testing, doing biopsies, and getting us our results, quickly, and for a very reasonable price.
