I had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands. It became agonizing and I was referred to Dr. Cheung. I had both hands done, two months apart and I have no pain or side effects. You can't even see a scar on my right hand. The left is still healing. I have already referred her to a friend who needs the same surgery. I have had 2 total knee replacement surgeries done by Dr. Cheung and they are fantastic. No pain and discomfort was minimal! I will need one more surgery for another problem and I will have her do it. I also had a very positive experience with the kvh and her staff was excellent.
My first impression of Dr Cheung was that she wanted to be anywhere but with me. She was dismissive about my knee problem and spent a maximum of 5 minutes with me. I left and was in tears by the time I reached my car.
I was contacted by Dr cheung's office the day after I was seen in Urgent Care for a knee injury. She was dismissive about my complaints about my knee and insisted that I had arthritis really bad in my hip. She told me "there is nothing wrong with your knee I can tell by looking at it it." I have since seen another doctor and had an MRI on my knee. I have a fractured tibia below the knee joint. I believe Dr Cheung was looking for a hip replacement patient and would not listen to me.
This “specialist” is the most insensitive medical provider that I have ever met. She is dismissive and unhelpful. The appointment was a waste of time and left a me emotionally wounded, belittled, confused, and pained. She should not allowed to practice given that vulnerable people come to her - who deserve help and guidance - NOT further wounding.

I broke my Ankle bad, the Tibia. Had to have surgery. I think she did a good job. I haven't seen her since the surgery but her assistant Lisa is awesome! The only complaint I have for the doctor is she didn't really explain the surgery before it was done. Still recovering and can't walk yet but doing well.
Dr. Cheung is rude and disrespectful. I was treated like garbage and ended up in the ER for infection because of a cortisone shot she/he? administered.
