I can't say enough of Dr Patel and his staff. He did my c4-c7 cervical fusion in July. Best decision I could have made. His staff were also amazing. Checking on me to make sure I was good. If you need neck surgery I would recommend you come see Dr Patel.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Patel and the Spine Institute. His bedside manner is excellent—he takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure no shortcuts are taken when it comes to safety and care. The PA, Phyliss Chovoor, was also amazing—caring, patient, and always willing to answer all of my questions. Dr. Patel performed back surgery for me in 2017, and I enjoyed many years of great back health afterward. AdventHealth Medical Group Spine Health at Altamonte Springs, the office of Dr. Chetan Patel. Based on the references and reviews, Dr Patel is a GREAT physician and surgeon and that is why I'm seeing him. On Thursday 4/17 in order to proceed with a possible L4-L5 spinal fusion he ordered an MRI and a CT scan, PERFECT !! ... well, I have a chronic condition with claustrophobia so I need some sedation in order to take the MRI. I didn't want to leave! :) Dr. Patel's staff was so friendly, I just wanted to stay and hang out with them all :) Dr. Patel was straight forward in discussing results of images, along with options. He gave me sound advice in moving forward, and I appreciated that. It is important to read the negative reviews and weed out those who are simply "disgruntled" or expected something magical and did not get it.
