This is not a "clean coal" plant. I've been living under this black soot and pollution for 50+ years. So tired of "orange air alerts" on hot, humid summer days. Finally, it will be dismantled! Thank God.
What a bunch of tree hugging idiots. You guys know nothing about that plant. I hope the good people of Cheswick can’t afford to play the increased taxes and power bills and are forced to move. Closing that plant will ruin the Cheswick/Springdale tax base
The facility was allegedly "clean coal". Unfortunately there's no such thing, like government ethics. We'll all breath easier now.
