One of the most difficult times in a family's life is discussing living arrangements with an aging parent. I spent the better part of 9 months researching the entire retirement community industry to try and find the right/best fit for my mother's needs and preferences. Chestnut Square is such a unique and wonderful place, I consider us fortunate it was an option so nearby where we live in Glenview. Nicest staff! So kind to my mother. She loves living there.
I am into my seventh year of living here. As the years go by, my experience here has become better and better. You don’t have to look for something to do, they have everything right at your doorstep. Exercise, educational, spiritual programs and more! It is easy to have friendships, everybody is different but everybody is alike.
As a relatively new resident of Chestnut Square, I have been very happy with my decision to move here. The residents and staff are lovely , the food is very good, and there are plenty of activities and programs offered that will keep you as busy as you want to be.
