My mom moved into Chestnut Square at the age of 90. She lived here for 8-1/2 years and it was nothing short of an amazing experience for us all - from the caring staff to all the different types of programs offered to the residents to the activities such as canasta, bingo, rummikub, etc. - WOW. One of the most difficult times in a family's life is discussing living arrangements with an aging parent. I spent the better part of 9 months researching the entire retirement community industry to try and find the right/best fit for my mother's needs and preferences. I am into my seventh year of living here. As the years go by, my experience here has become better and better. You don’t have to look for something to do, they have everything right at your doorstep. Exercise, educational, spiritual programs and more! It is easy to have friendships, everybody is different but everybody is alike.
