ONE OF THE BEST NURSING HOMES EVER ! this place goes above and beyond for the things they do , my mother is currently staying here On A wing and she absolutely loves IT ! from the nurses down to the Activities staff ESPECIALLY THEM !!! the parties Ive seen them throw to keep our families active are amazing , some wonderful nursing staff over on the dementia unit with plenty of activities for them to do as well to make their time here worth the stay. Thank you Justine for opening the door for me to share my experiences while working at this facility. It has been extremely disappointing. There is a clear pattern of unequal treatment among staff, creating a toxic environment for both employees and residents. Some employees are consistently held to harsher standards while others are allowed to bend or break policies without accountability. I am coming to leave this review here as this might be our only way of being listened to. This building has a very toxic work environment. Multiple complaints have been made about how the Administrator treats employees. Complaints go unanswered. Reports have been made to the Company Compliance Hotline but as soon as a complaint is made about him, he is the first person they call and he is told about the complaint and who called and complaints are never followed up on. Chestnut Hill Lodge has been a great facility for my grandfather. Every time I visit the staff is kind and welcoming and the facility looks clean and well kept. He enjoys the variety of activities that are provided and is happy with the care he receives.
I did receive an welcoming greeting from the smiling receptionist & all staff members. Furthermore I felt my love one was safe in responsible hands. I was finally able to get a goodnight sleep.
