Would absolutely not recommend purchasing a home with Chestnut Hill. We've had discrepancies from PDI (1 year in) that we are still chasing, nevermind many more issues that have since shown up. Our neighbors express the same. We advised them to go into conciliation with Tarion, which this builder conveniently doesn't remind or really educate people on it seems. They think they know what they’re doing but they don’t. There are so many issues going on during construction. Seems like they are very inexperienced in terms of building their projects.
Building was opened for occupancy when it was nowhere close to being ready or safe... they are still doing structural work months later. If you buy with them, you are signing on to jack hammering for hours on end, litter, and unkempt common areas. Units are opened unfinished, the crew leaves nails, sharp objects, debris all over the place (including the parking garage). I bought 2 units under construction struction one 2018 in Universal City 2 and another in Dylan. It was the worst experience of my life. I'm in the construction business. Delay after another no commitment i did the closing and both units were not ready and not livable. The only thing they care about is to close, take the purchaser money, and give you your worst night mare. I saw some of the good reviews they are real state agent who want to for future benefits.
