We recommend staying at Chestnut Hill on the Delaware. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. The property was well maintained and beautiful. The Inn Keepers/owners, (Linda & Rob), were very nice and graciously shared so much history with us about the area. You can walk to downtown Milford. There's also a lot to do within 10-20 minutes drive from Milford. Each nearby town was charming and beautiful. We had a great time.

If you're looking for a nice quiet get away in an historic, beautiful home, located within a stone's throw of the Delaware, then Chestnut Hill is the place for you. Our hosts, Linda and Rob , and manager Carol couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Our room and the cottage we stayed at were completely charming. Rob and Linda are the best hosts and were attentive without being overbearing. We are definitely coming back here. Our room was adorable with the kinds of individual touches, gingerbread cookies by our bed, that made our weekend a perfect getaway.

You will never stay at a more tranquil and romantic B&B than Chestnut Hill. Linda and Rob are the sweetest humans to ever walk this planet, and they have made all of our stays simply perfect. The atmosphere is so wonderful that Chestnut Hill was where I proposed to my wife. Milford itself has some great restaurants. You can sit by the river or check out the local shops. There are also many wineries nearby.
