I’m in my 70s, love ice cream all my life: a special day was when our parents would drive 8 miles to treat us 3 kids to Carvel ice cream. My go-to has been Haagen Dazs—that is, until husband and I stopped here a few days ago. As soon as I licked my black raspberry cone, I was swooning; I brought a quart back home. Husband loves butterscotch and he devoured his cone. Sadly, that day it wasn’t available in a quart which, we were told, the flavors could change weekly. Not only is the Creamery breathtaking with an incredible views, the owner is so outgoing and friendly!! She showed the areas we were allowed to wander around. We were unaware that it was a working farm and were astounded at her taking the time and trouble with no prior contact with us. The "scoopers", Panesh, Natalie, John, amd Katie didn't rush us and in a nutshell were professional as well as helpful and upbeat! Excellent creamy, fresh, heavy and delightful ice cream. No extra additives to get in the way. Very little fluff or air, dense and delicious!! Simple and pure. Tops in the area!!
