I waited over 11 YEARS to be contacted! Finally, when I am contacted, Im told I'm approved by the leasing agency! I notified my current landlord that I rent a room from, that I was approved for income based housing and left notice! No one ever contacted me to tell me I didn't qualify because I made too much money! I called the housing specialist numerous times and no one got back to me! I had to find out from the leasing agency! Mind you I work a full and part time job and barely make ends meet! I guess you have to know how to use the system in order to qualify.
Caseworker barely reached out, constantly getting the run around and to top it off I was told to contact certain workers who had no idea what was even going on. Communication sucks, their attitudes suck and I’m glad I am leaving this program and off to better things! Never again will I move back to PA or be in this program. Thanks but no thanks.
