I took my car to Chester Body Shop after my car was rear ended and pushed into another vehicle. Chester Body shop replaced both front and back bumpers. The work was excellent and all of the employees were very nice and professional. I will definitely take my car there again if needed. Insurance approved the use of a replacement quarter panel to fix the damage done by a hit and run. They told my wife they could fix without the quarter panel, As a truck driver I depend a lot on my Wife for getting some things done. The truck was one of them due to my hours. The rear bumper was not aligned properly. It was low and still pushed in on the driver side. I believe the mount for the bumper is bent. The spare tire was not put back in properly either. Took car in 12/30/13 was TOLD it was ready 1/15/14 WRONG! FILTHY inside & out. Only went in with exterior damage on passenger side. When we went to pick it up 1/15 it also had severe damage to my INTERIOR passenger door were it had been jabbed with a screwdriver yet no one fixed it or reported it. We drove from Midlothian to Chester to pick up my car that was less than a year old with less than 3400 miles on it & I was SHOCKED to see the condition. Repair shop of Horrors! I took a new car in with body damage. They said it would be 10 business days to fix and no problem. This was completely false. It took 28 days to fix the body. I first was told they broke a clip (who know what that is) and it would be a day more to fix. A week goes by and then upon pick up, these guys did a terrible paint job, runs in the paint, bubbles, wax marks, etc. Body A pillar was not fixed to straight.. Unfair Business Practices I had a terrible experience here. One that cost me nearly $500. In December 2011 my car was hit by another driver. Her insurance company came out, looked at the car and cut me a check (about $1600) for the repair costs. I took the car to Chester Body Shop, and they gave me an estimate of $1100 to fix my car. When I dropped my car off, they asked me to bring in the insurance company estimate, which I thought was odd. Why would the body shop care about what the insurance company thought? 450 reasons why I choose Chester Body Shop. So the only reason I wont rate them world class is because I havent done enough business there. So today I take my 99 Acura there because I cant seem to get my trunk to close. I orginally took it to a mechanic who told me that my trunk latch was probably broken so he quoted me around 300 dollars to replace it. They do great mechanical work too – I got my body work done at Chester Body Shop and found out they do state inspections, oil changes, etc. I get my car inspected there now. My radiator busted and Chester Body Shop towed my vehicle, and repaired the issue. I know they will not try to sell me things that are not really wrong with my car, like other local mechanics. The staff is trustworthy and work hard to fix your problem. They are a family owned Christian business who strive hard to help their customers. Definitely recommen... read more
Excelent Work!!! – Took my Mustang to be repaired, It came back as good as new, looks as it was never hit. They even took time to straighted the license plate out, and washed and detailed the car inside and out.....I would highly reccomend them to anyone...
