This place is a hidden gem! We had a wonderful dinner with friends in a warm, inviting atmosphere where we could actually enjoy conversation without loud music. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety of options. The highlight of the evening was definitely dessert—we ordered the Bananas Foster, and it did not disappoint! We’ll definitely be back.
I never leave reviews, but felt compelled after last night's meal. I sincerely don't think I've ever experienced SERVICE as exceptional as this place. We were greeted instantly, hot bread brought out moments later, drinks were fast. My mother dropped her fork on the chair, and literally within 5s the waiter came to the table and asked "Did I hear a fork hit the floor? Here's a fresh one..." Beware the shady practices being employed on these google reviews! This place used to be a breakfast/lunch place. Most of the reviews, which average to a 4.8 at the time of this writing, are from "that" era of the Chess Club. And they deserve them - it used to be great as a breakfast/lunch place. However, they shut that operation down a while back and decided to become a steakhouse.
