After living in my home for about a year and a half, my experience with both the home and Chesmar Builders has been disappointing. This is my second Chesmar home, and while my first experience was exceptional, this one has been far from it. The quality of construction has noticeably declined. I've never had so many issues needing repair or replacement within the first year of owning a home. We were ready to relocate back to the Comal County area after being away for over 10 years so we started the process from Colorado. Having a new home built while not being near enough to check the weekly progress is difficult. Juan Carlos, Dallas and Jimmy kept us in the loop with photos and constant updates. We can't say enough good things about the team at Chesmar even after living in our new home for over 7 months now. What few problems we have had have been quickly and professionally handled. We absolutely love our Chesmar home!! The quality of materials used and craftsmanship is impeccable. The team at the August fields subdivision made the buying process so easy. Dallas was professional and extremely easy to work with when picking out our dream home. Every time we’ve stopped by the model home or had a question the team at August Fields has been friendly and helpful. We love our neighborhood and location here at August Fields. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience buying a home.
