He is tops, a wonderful Dr. and I hope to see him for my care soon since my Dr. (before my husband & I married) has retired. I am 77 and fortunately virus-free, fully vaccinated and double boosted. Virginia State Code states that a death certificate "shall be completed and filed electronically with the State Registrar of Vital Records using the Electronic Death Registration System within 24 hours after death by the physician in charge of the patient's care for the illness or condition which resulted in death...." My husband passed away last Monday. Dr. Chesler found no urgency in filing a death certificate and 4 days after his passing, the certificate still had not been signed. Dr. Chesler is the best. Smart, kind compassionate and he truly cares. He takes care of my daughter and myself. I can’t stress enough how amazing this man is. Best decision I ever made for the 2 of us.

Dr. Chesler has taken excellent care of me. He listens and he truly cares about his patients. My only regret is that I didn’t find him sooner. 5 stars is not enough for this amazing doctor.
Dr. Chesler has cared for me since 1993. As a nurse I choose my PCP very carefully. He is the best in care, follow through, takes time needed to make sure patients understand. Quickly refers to specialists when needed. I highly recommend Dr.Chesler.
Cannot say enough about Dr. Chesler and his entire staff! Through and professional. This entire staff is also sincerely concerned about your health issues!
Do not go to this quack. SERIOUSLY. I have never left a review for a doctor but I wanted to warn other people that may be considering being under his care. My child was referred to him, and without even reading his file he threw away the medication he was currently on based on the fact he had never heard of it before. He likes to hear himself talk, does not allow you to explain your symptoms or case and basis his medical decisions on the years he has been in the practice. Stay far away!
He makes medical care decisions based on medical record review, without actually examining the patient or consulting with patient's other specialists. He does not answer questions honestly. He does not explain his medical care decisions. As a physician myself, in practice for over 30 years, he has to be one of the worst internists that I have ever dealt with.
Apparently, in this age of computers and legible information, he sent TWO different hand-written prescriptions that were not able to be read by the medical supply. We haven't been able to get the prescription filled.
