Owner is rude!!! I think, based on the description, another reviewer dealt with the actual owner of the place. I also had the "pleasure" of dealing with her and she was just terrible! She was rude, pushy and implied that I was an idiot! That woman should stay away from the store and let sales people sell the stuff. They even apologized for her behavior, but, at that point, I was too upset to buy anything. I would not recommend the store and will never go back there!
Various Antiques from around the World Carolina Antique Mall is a very nice establishment however they know it very well! The employees there have a bit of an attitude. In fact so much so you want to almost say hey you are just a clerk at a store! But other than that they are okay. Please note prices are all slightly elevated to make you want to negotiate. don't bother This is the latest in a string of antique malls which have occupied the same space for 20 years or so. A few months ago I stopped to check it out and had the worst experience in a store that I can recall. The clerk, a short, stout woman of about 60, was rude, dismissive and generally unpleasant when I asked about helping me find certain kinds if items. I had already found one thing but put it back on the shelf and left. I wonder if the owner of the place knows about the behavior of this employee and how much mon... read more
Antiques This is a great place to shop. They have all kinds of antiques to look at . I love going in there each week to see the new things that they have. They have a great selection of items and very helpful staff to answer any questions you may have. There location is easy to get to.
